A year at our school
Sports Carnivals
Sports carnivals are a highlight of the school year and play an important role in promoting physical activity, school spirit, and student well-being. From swimming, to athletics and cross country, these events provide all students with the opportunity to participate in a fun and inclusive environment, whether competing for their house team or cheering from the side lines. At our school, we value the role of sport in developing confident, active learners and fostering a strong, connected school community.
Year 7 2026 Transition Days
Our Year 6 Transition Days are a great success, providing students with an exciting and supportive introduction to life at Goulburn High School. Across these visits, students had the opportunity to explore their new learning environment, meet their future teachers, and take part in a variety of engaging lessons and team-building activities. The days were designed to ease any worries, build confidence and help students feel a sense of belonging as they prepare for this next leap in their education. We are proud of how positively our Year 6 students embraced the experience and look forward to welcoming them as official members of our school community in 2026.
Industry Connect Morning Tea
Our Industry Connect Morning Tea is a valuable opportunity to strengthen partnerships between the school and the wider community. Local business owners and representatives were invited to connect with students in a relaxed setting, fostering meaningful conversations about career pathways, work experience, and future job opportunities. By engaging with local industries, we aim to create real-world opportunities for our students and ensure they are better prepared for life after school.
Sport Recognition Awards
Each Monday at our school assembly, we proudly recognise students who have demonstrated outstanding participation in school sport and consistently displayed our core values of Respect, Responsibility, and Resilience. These weekly awards celebrate not only athletic effort and teamwork but also the positive behaviours that contribute to a strong and supportive school culture. By acknowledging students in this way, we aim to encourage continued personal growth, school pride, and a commitment to being active, respectful members of our community.
