STUDENT NOTICES

You must see Mrs Reece (Deputy Office) or Front Office if there is a reason you can't do school service
 

1. Harry Cohen you are on School Service periods 1, 2 and 3, Georgia Sneddon periods 4, 5 and 6 today. Thank you.
2. ALL TAFE STUDENTS: must sign out with Mrs Kennedy in the Head/Teachers Admin Office before leaving at the start of lunch.If you do not sign out you will be marked absent which will affect your attendance record.(Yr 12 may sign out at the end ofPeriod 3).
3. Lunchtime Christian Fellowship Group(Yrs. 7 - 12) "The Hub"
   An all-age Christian Fellowship group is on today at Lunch time in E3.
   Please see Miss Schabel in the English staff room if you would like more information.

4. CHOIR & BAND:Results posted with Mrs Schroot Robinson in music.Thank you everybody who auditioned.
5. FINAL HOUSE POINTS: for Term 11 (all 3 carnivals) places: Taylor 3791, Knopp 4179, Southwell 4251, Lumsden 4689.Congratulations Lumsden.
6. BOYS CORNER: Wednesday & Friday, Lunchtime in E18.All boys welcome.Mr Carroll.
7. YRS 7, 8, 9 & 10: Sport will be at the basketball Stadium.Cost $4.00.Mr Teague.
8. UNIFORM SHOP NEWS:Will be open 8:30 - 12:30 July 18^th (Pupil Free Day).Thank you.
9. DUKE OF ED:There is a meeting on Today during Lunch 1 in A4 for Bronze students. Mr White.
10. YR 9 COMMERCE: are holding a fundraiser this Tomorrow.Sausage sandwiches, drinks & cupcakes will be available at lunchtime.All profits will go to Angels for the Forgotten.Ms Whiley.
11. GREAT BARRIER REEF: There will be meeting on Tomorrow during Lunch 1 in A4. Must attend. Mr White.
12. YR 10 STUDENTS: The End of Year planning groups are posted on D Block staff room door.Please see list for your group.All groups to meet during Lunch 1 in D1 on Thursday for more information and to start planning. Thank you for being prompt.
13. 11 ADVANCED STUDENTS: Last day to pay for "Orthello" excursion is Friday Week 10. Permission notes need to be returned to your class teacher.Thank you.
14. NEWSLETTER: New addition of our GHS Newsletter is available online.
15. The school is not responsible for the loss of any expensive items from bags, such as ipods and mobiles. We cannot be expected to investigate cases of theft, so please refrain from bringing expensive items to school and carry all valuables on you at all times.
16. Pass-outs from school If you need to leave school for any reason you must bring a note from home clearly saying where you are going, at what time and if you are returning.It must be signed by a parent with a contact number.All notes MUST be signed by Mrs Kennedy before you go to the Office.This must be done before the end of Roll Call.If a pass-out is needed throughout the day ONLY Mrs Reece or Mr Mani can approve this.
