Tuesday 6^th September 2016 WEEK 8 "B"

You must see Mrs Reece (Deputy Office) or Front Office if there is a reason you can't do school service
 

1. SCHOOL SERVICE: Aaron Matasin periods 1, 2 and 3. Caleb McClelland periods 4, 5 and 6. Thank you.
2. REMINDER TO ALL STUDENTS:If you have received a letter regarding the Recognition Assembly would you please be sure to give it to your parents when you go home. The Recognition Assembly is this Thursday.
3. GREAT BARRIER REEF: Meeting at recess today in A4 - MUST ATTEND!!! Mr White.
4. YEAR 9 FINANCIAL LITERACY: Periods 3 & 4 today. Go to the library at the end of recess. Mrs Kennedy.
5. LUNCHTIME CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP GROUP: (Yrs. 7 - 12) "The Hub" An all-age Christian Fellowship group is on today at Lunch time in E3. Please see Miss Schabel in the English staff room if you would like more information. Hope to see you there.
6. ALL TAFE STUDENTS: must sign out with Mrs Kennedy in the Head/Teachers Admin Office before leaving at the start of lunch.If you do not sign out you will be marked absent which will affect your attendance record.(Yr 12 may sign out at the end of Period 3).
7. YR 11 HOSPITALITY STUDENTS: Please bring a tall cake container for Wednesday's practical lesson. Thank you, Mrs Porter.
8. YR 11 STUDENTS REMINDER: Bring your baked goods in a container, with labelled ingredients to the Science Staffroom on Friday 9^th September.Thank you. Mrs McLean.
9. SPORT for YRS 7 & 8: will be at the basketball until the end of term. Cost $4.00. Mr Teague.
10. LEAGUE OF GENTLEMAN: Today at lunchtime in E18. Mr Carroll
11. RUOK DAY EXCURSION: Please return your permission notes to your Year Advisor or to Ms Baker ASAP! Last chance tomorrow :) Busses will be departing from GHS at 1:30pm on Thursday. Session commences at 2:00pm at Mulwaree High School. Busses collecting us at 3:00pm to return to GHS.
12. White Ribbon Action Group: Meeting Lunch 1 in the Wellbeing Room every Wednesday

BREAKFAST CLUB: Free breakfast is available to all students in the canteen every Monday to Friday mornings from 8:20-8:50am

HOMEWORK CENTRE: On Every Monday in M1. 3:30 - 5pm, afternoon tea provided.

PASS OUTS FROM SCHOOL: If you need to leave school for any reason you must bring a note from home clearly saying where you are going, at what time and if you are returning.It must be signed by a parent with a contact number.All notes MUST be signed by Mrs Kennedy before you go to the Office.This must be done before the end of Roll Call.If a pass-out is needed throughout the day ONLY Mrs Reece or Mr Mani can approve this.

The school is not responsible for the loss of any expensive items from bags, such as ipods and mobiles. We cannot be expected to investigate cases of theft, so please refrain from bringing expensive items to school and carry all valuables on you at all times.
