Students' progress through four lobes of Woodwork and progressively develop skills in project work which include cabinet construction and furniture design. Students will enjoy undertaking and completing many projects over the duration of the course.
The final Year 10 project is a major individual project which is chosen by the student. It demonstrates the development of knowledge and skills including design, planning, tools, materials, construction, lathe work, processes and finishing in a major construction project.
Ø Students must wear leather enclosed footwear at all times in this subject.
Fee: $40 in Year 9. Cost varies in Year 10 according to Individual Project.
