This subject is a 200 hour course; meaning you will study this elective for both Year 9 & 10.
Indonesian is spoken throughout many islands of Indonesia, and is widely understood throughout Malaysia.
Students will gain knowledge and understanding of Indonesian in areas of speaking, listening, reading and writing.
Topics covered include:
* Getting to know you
* Talking about family and friends
* Pets
* Leisure activities
* Food
* Lifestyle and customs
The study of Indonesian will be beneficial in many ways, including enhancing literacy skills in English, and broadening cultural understanding and tolerance.
