Music is a compulsory course for all students in Year 7 and 8.
The Music (Mandatory) course provides students an opportunity to experience a variety of musical styles . Students in Year 7 & 8 will study a variety of topics including What is Music ?, Instruments of the Orchestra, Music for Theatre, Film Music and Rock Music. Throughout the mandatory course students are provided the opportunity, and actively encouraged to learn the keyboard and guitar.
