It was a successful year for Goulburn High, which improved on last year’s HSC results.
Principal Yogesh Mani said compared to last year, the school’s top two and top three band results increased by three per cent.
Goulburn High had 49 students sit the HSC in 2020.
Mr Mani said of their results, 16 per cent were band fives and 47 per cent were top three bands.
“We’re quite pleased with the HSC results. Given the circumstances - Covid disruptions and things like that, students have performed quite well,” he said.
“I want to thank the teachers for their work in supporting the students and I wish the students all the best because it’s about them being successful in their life. I’m very confident that we have prepared them very well to face the challenges of this complex and dynamic world.”
Mr Mani said students performed particularly well in Community and Family Studies (CAFS), Visual Arts, PDHPE and Music.
