Staff and students of Goulburn High School commemorated Anzac Day earlier this week at a school assembly.
Vice captain Braxton addressed the school.
We gather to remember the quintessential Australian character, the best version of ourselves: the ANZACs that displayed the spirit of mateship. Those that stood by their friends when the going got tough," he said.
He encouraged everyone to live "a way that is worthy of their sacrifice."
"Let us find a good purpose or goal in our lives and work to make it come true. Let us remember every day to do something to make the world better in some small way. "

"As a 17-year-old living in today's society, it is important that my generation never forgets the importance of this day."
