Today, we officially opened the new Support Playground at Goulburn High School.
The recently completed project was officially opened on March 21 and includes a range of new features including a half basketball court, handball court, table tennis table, vertical garden and a veggie garden where students will be able to grow produce to use in their kitchen.
The inclusive playground was designed to have numerous developmental benefits for students in the Support Unit at Goulburn High.
It will provide a safe, quiet space to enhance a sense of belonging and value in students and a supportive environment for students who are feeling overwhelmed.
Goulburn High School Principal Yogesh Mani said it was a fantastic resource for students at the school and gave special thanks to the Veolia Mulwaree Trust who gave the school a grant of $78,781 for the project.
